Our Mission

Introduction :

                       Global Watche Trust is located in the sacred town of Tiruvannamalai in South India. The Home provides a loving place to stay, healthy meals, education, and stability for our children, nurturing them to grow into good citizens in the future.

Started in 2007 with 33 children living in three small, dark, and dingy rooms, where one house mother looked after all the children in a remote village an hour away in Tiruvannamalai, the Trust initially helped by fixing broken facilities and providing essentials. In early 2008, Corrine and Satya took over full financial and legal responsibility, founding The Global Watche Trust Children’s Home.

Objectives:

The Trust aims to:

  • Provide a safe and loving environment for children in need.
  •  Ensure healthy meals, education, and stability for all children in the Home.
  •  Foster a nurturing atmosphere to help children grow into responsible citizens.
  •  Support the children’s day-to-day needs and their futures through community sponsorship and donations.
  •  Offer facilities that promote learning, recreation, and overall well-being.

Infrastructure:

            The Students Home is currently equipped with the following     facilities:-

  • Library
  • Computer facility
  • Yoga cum entertainment hall including bunk beds for children
  • Kitchen with gas connection
  • RO water facility with provision for clean drinking water
  • Outdoor play facilities in natural environment including a tree house
  • Cattle farm with two milch cows to cater milk supply
  • A dedicated room for storing groceries for day to day preparation of food

R.Gopika

                                 Her name is Gopika and 13 years old. Her father’s name is Mr. Raju and mother’s name is Mrs. Mahalakshmi. She was brought to this home at the age six months old on 11/06/2009, because her parent could not look after her. Her parents has not communicated till date.  She is studying VIII Standard at Sri Ramanamaharishi Loyola Academy in Tiruvannamalai. Her hobbies include dancing and dressing up and favorite color is pink. Her favorite game is hockey and ambition is to become a police officer. She is very good in karate especially chi. She had participated in District level Karate Tournament.

S.Sandhya

                       Her name is Sandhya and 13 years old. Her father’s name is Mr. Sekar and mother’s name is Mrs. Sudha. Her father passed away due to an illness and mother has a progressively worsening eye problem and could not take care of her, hence she was brought to this home on 04/07/2014. She is studying VIII Standard at Sri Ramamaharishi Loyola Academy in Tiruvannamalai. Her hobbies are playing khokho and favorite color is white. Her favorite game is running races and ambition is to become a police officer. She is very good in karate especially kata.

P.Pooja

 

             Her  name is Pooja and 13 years old. Her father’s name is Mr.Poongavanamand mother’s name is Mrs. Mahalakshmi. Her mother passed away.   Her father was unable to take care of her, and so she was brought to this home on 30/06/2017. She is studying IX Standard at Government High School in Vediappanur, Tiruvannamalai. Her hobbies are singing songs and dancing and favorite color is black. Her favorite game is Kabaddi and ambition is to become a Drawing teacher. She is very good in karate, yoga& drawing she had participated in National level yoga competition.
